A Father’s Day Patek Philippe Calatrava

The most classic of Patek Philippe watches and ones that would make for a great Father’s Day gift is the Calatrava. Patek’s signature model sports an ultra-thin round case, straightforward clean dial, and timeless appeal. There are plenty of options to choose from within the Calatrava collection, but for Father’s Day, may we suggest a vintage one.

First up we have a gorgeous 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe Calatrava ref. 2406 from 1948 and sold to the original owner in 1952. The Calatrava ref. 2406 was in production from about 1945 until 1951. Not only is this manual-wound beauty in great vintage condition, it also comes with the original Patek papers.

Next, we have another manual wound 18k yellow gold model, the vintage Patek Philippe Calatrava ref. 2532. The ref. 2532 was in production from 1952 until 1956 and it’s estimated that only 200 pieces were ever made. This particular example of the Calatrava ref. 2532 comes along with the archive papers.

Our third suggestion is the automatic 18k yellow gold Patek Philippe Calatrava ref. 3415, circa 1960. The vintage Calatrava ref. 3415 was only made for two years from 1958 until 1960 and it’s believed that only 300 examples in yellow gold were ever made. This particular Patek ref. 3415 comes complete with archive papers.
