REPAIR & SERVICE
Graham Silverstone GMT Chronograph
Gray & Sons Jewelers, located in Miami Beach, Florida is an independent watch service center, repairing Graham Silverstone GMT Chronograph watches since 1980.
Graham Silverstone GMT, all you need in a sport watch and more.
This limited edition, 247/250, racing-inspired, and highly desirable chronograph watch is made of stainless steel, with carbon fiber bezel and dial. It comes with an awesome 48mm case, black dial with Arabic numeral markers, and features an anti-scratch sapphire crystal.
This exquisite line of sports watches is the brainchild of Eric Loth, current CEO of Graham. His passion for racing cars was the main reason for Graham to come up with this collection of timepieces that clearly emulate the competitive spirit of racing.
This watch is powered by a Caliber Ref. 2BLCB automatic self-winding movement.
Graham Repair Services
It is a pleasure to look at innovative and unique timepieces like this one. It is a privilege to work on such a stunning watch.
Gray and Sons received the watch from a watch enthusiast that wanted to make sure we were going to follow manufacturers’ protocols to keep this watch 100% original and protect its present and future value. The watch had a missing chronograph pusher which allowed water to get into the movement. It was imperative to open the watch and start the repair process to safeguard the delicate metal parts and avoid any further damage.
Our Swiss-trained watchmakers took the job with great passion, as usual when there is water intrusion in the movement we work immediately on the job to reduce the cost of the repair. We love the intricate movements of a chronograph and appreciate the watch enthusiasts that wear them.
This watch has a strong personality and unique look, it is impossible not to notice the quality, originality, and investment of time from the manufacturer on the design of such an incredible timepiece. +

What makes Gray & Sons different?
We look at each watch as a work of art and we involve up to 6 people in the whole process to repair, restore, and bring it back to the original manufacturer’s specifications.
So the work begins, the movement is removed. One of our master watchmakers disassembles the movement to the barest parts. To clean the parts we use a multi-stage process to remove dirt and old dried lubricants to bring this great movement back to its best performance.
No shortcuts are used, we, at Gray & Sons, only do this the old fashioned way of the antique watchmakers when they designed these intricate movements over one hundred years ago. The movement is put together again to start working on the regulation, timekeeping accuracy, power reserve, chronograph functions, and synchronization of all the parts involved for this magnificent movement to keep time, this new process taking 10 days.
Then the watch will be re-cased, and for the final checks, two specialists will test the power reserve of the movement manually, then check the power reserve using mechanical wheels for timekeeping and winding, finally pressure testing machines to check for leaks on the seals and gaskets, this will take another 10 days.
The watch is almost ready to be shipped back and as a final stage, we will have another associate check everything all over again with new eyes and have these final tests done again before we ship it back to the owner.
