Vintage Hamilton Pocket Watch in a Gold Filled Hunter Case. When it was introduced, the 943 hunting case had only 2700 made, the 943 was the hunting case version of the 942 movement. The 942 movement was Hamilton's highest grade 18s movement. Fewer than 6000 grade 942 watches were made from 1899-1914 by comparison, grade 940 was made from 1898-1928 nearly 207,500 were made. This pocket watch has phenomenal steelwork in the movement. 21 jewel manual winding movement. Ruby jewels are in gold settings. Has a double sunk white enamel dial. The movement has nickel plates with gold engraved inlay-gilt lettering. Also, the movement is fully damascened.
